House on the lake / Bellagio (Como)

Using the skeleton of a pre-existing warehouse and preserving the stone basement facing the lake, a new building was planned, with a fully glazed and permeable façade characterized by a rhythmic scan of wooden uprights, crowned by a containment beam of the flat roof garden. These uprights organize a grid for climbing plant species, alluding to the arboreal architectures in rows, which characterize the landscape of the lake shores of the area.

The organization of the interior spaces of the real estate unit is linear and oriented with respect to the lake view; A patio closed on three sides was also provided, also overlooking the lake and covered by sunshade awnings.
