The pre-existing building, particularly degraded, was the subject of a detailed operation to safeguard its compositional elements as much as possible. Materials, internal load-bearing partitions, openings in the façade, have all been preserved, albeit giving them a new interpretation deriving from a contemporary residential use.
The envelope was slightly raised, adopting a solution of maximum readability in the face of the use of exposed reinforced concrete for the raised part. The outdoor spaces have been made accessible only and exclusively, thus respecting the rural flavor of the context.
